The Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) program at Leeds High School in Leeds, Alabama prepares students for success in college, careers, and everyday life by teaching essential skills that can be applied in real-world situations. Through courses such as:

Event Management
students develop communication, leadership, financial literacy, critical thinking, and career exploration skills that are necessary for future success.
FCCLA is an integral, co-curricular part of the FCS program because it allows students to apply classroom learning through leadership experiences, community service, and competitive STAR Events. Students strengthen employability skills such as teamwork, responsibility, public speaking, and problem-solving while gaining experience that connects directly to college and career readiness.
